Interlake Mecalux Conveyors for Pallets are a highly customizable and adaptable solution for joining different work stations within a facility. The pallet entry checkpoint is used to check that the size of unit loads at the point of entry meet the specifications of the facility. It is the first control on the conveyor system and includes a barcode label reader to identify the product and to enter it in the warehouse management system (WMS).
To guarantee proper pallet transport and storage, two devices are installed to control the condition and quality of the base of the pallet, on which it is carried. One monitors the empty spaces where the forks are inserted, and the other controls the skids on which the pallet rests when on the rack.
The following checks must be carried out as standard practice:
