This video shows the basics of carbon fiber lay up, step by step for vacuum bagging. The Carbon Fiber fabric used in this video is not what you would normally see. This fabric has a binding agent that helped hold the weave together making the lay up easier for instruction purposes. Your tradtional fabrics would be much looser and easier to mold in three demensional molds. Take a look, and ask any questions you may have.

- French swimmers in good shape during the first days of the European Swimming championships at Barcelona
In Barcelona, the European swimming championships confirmed the fine condition of France’s sprint swimmers. In the 100 metre breaststroke, Roger Menu was beaten in the final only by former world record holder Pankin of the Soviet Union, who touched home one second ahead of him. The 100 metre freestyle gave new European record holder Michel Rousseau a chance to chalk up another sensational performance. Taking the lead from the start, Rousseau in the fourth lane from the bottom of the screen was the first to turn at the halfway mark. None of the others in this final, the Russians Kulyikov and Ilyichev and the east German Matthes could worry Rousseau who finished only one tenth of a second behind his own new European record – a gold medal he had long worked for.

The Centennial of the French Republic
- The Third Republic is 100 years old. What it has stood for.
The one hundredth anniversary of the Proclamation of the French republic was commemorated on September 4th at Place de l’hotel de ville in Paris, with President George Pompidou attending. His political thinking, which did not prompt him to join the opposition when General de Gaulle took office, earned him yet other honours but in difficult periods he always had the courage to stand sincerely by his opinions.
