The VidiCube from Quividi is a fantastic turnkey device that addresses all of your needs in audience measurement and traffic analysis in public places.
Thanks to its diminutive size and tiny video sensor, you can use it in a large number of situations:
- you can place it behind a media, such as a screen, a poster, and assess their audience
- you can count and qualify the outside passers-by and visitors of a store
- within the store itself, you can count shoppers entering a category and taking a look to products on a shelf, and later confront this data to sell out data, in order to analyse the engagement process
To perform this measurement, VidiCube uses state of the art video analytics software: it detects the faces of the persons looking towards the sensor and tracks their attention time and presence time. The demographics of all viewers is also assessed in real time with a good accuracy.
By doing so, VidiCube fully respects the viewers’ privacy, since no image, no video are ever recorded, and no uniquely identifiable data is ever kept.
Alternatively, by setting up the sensor on the ceiling, you can count the number of people crossing virtual lines, which gives you precious indications on the incoming and outcoming traffic of the observed zone
