Defcon(TM) by Hillyard is the super concentrated degreasing system designed to lower cost and improve quality. Simply fill an empty Defcon drum with 40 gallons of water, then empty the 5 gallon bag-in-box SUPER concentrate package into the drum and top off with 10 gallons of water and you have 55 gallons of concentrated degreaser that is ready to be diluted further for in-use application. This high-performance degreasing system is designed to tackle everyday grease and grime and is versatile enough to use in autoscrubbers, mop buckets, and spray bottles.

concentrated degreaser! Store an extra refill on the shelf and never run out of degreaser. Defcon is the safe alternative to buying full drums of degreaser. No more trying to maneuver heavy 55-gallon drums full of product. Simply take the compact
bag-in-box SUPER concentrate package to the drum, add water, and your concentrate is ready to be diluted for in-use application. One small 5 gallon bag-in-box will make up to 935 gallons of ready-to-use degreaser. Defcon-R refills are packed using Hillyard’s Envirologix™ packaging system which reduces packaging, warehousing and transportation costs when compared to traditional 55 gallon drum packaging – lowering our carbon footprint.

Say you have an existing unit, but you want to make it taller. How can you combine the posts?

Shelving Inc has the solution for you: the post extension kit. By installing the extension kit in your unit, you can add posts to increase the height. Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it might seem. Here’s what you need to install it.

You’ll have your posts, your extension kit (which comes in two parts: the plug and the bolt). The bolt threads into your new post, just like leveling feet would. The plug is inserted into the top of your existing posts.

To install, you must first remove the plastic post cap. Grab a set of pliers to pull the cap out. It may seem like the plug doesn’t fit into the post at first. You’ll need a rubber mallet to set the plug in place. The extension kit is meant to be a permanent solution, so it’s a snug fit. Tamp down the plug using the rubber mallet until it’s buried to the ridge.

Now that it’s securely in place, you can attach the threaded bolt from your extra post. Twist the top post, making sure that the threading catches inside the plug. Once the posts connect, you are left with one larger post. You won’t be able to pull them apart
and you’ll still have the hallmarks of a post cap and a threaded insert for leveling feet.
