Our client has custom built-ins that had been designed for a CRT television in the left cabinet and a stack of equipment in the right, but he wanted a new, large HDTV without changing the look and feel of the room. To accomplish this we had to do some ‘out of the box’ design (literally!). This required that we relocate his existing equipment (and new HD sources) to the left cabinet and re-engineer the right cabinet to take advantage of an unused nook in the adjacent closet (we were actually able to make the closet more usable by having shelves added around our enclosure!). The result; we fit a top of the line Sony 46″ TV into a cabinet that was 36″ wide!
