Yesterday I worked in the office on my part time job so I did not have much time for work on the solar RV.
I washed some areas that need to be caulked. It was sunny and warmer than the past few days and I am hoping to get teh RV caulked where I have not yet finished sealing potential leaks. I want to seal any seam in the old RV no matter if it leaks or not.
I got one of the cabinets cleaned up and usable above the RV fridge. This was water damaged and after disinfecting it I put a new board down. This will not hold my dishes and cups.
Under the kitchen sink I put down some dollar store tack paper so I can use that area for storage now as well.
I removed a plastic set of shelves from the old camper to repurpose for the new RV. It is now in the bedroom where I will have book shelves and a study later. This helps me get the place cleaned up a bit better.
After dark I also got the cab area of the RV cleaned up a bit better. A bit at a time I will turn this old motorhome into a nice livable home.
Follow The Off Grid Project and learn how to get your home or RV off the grid on a budget. I am living in an RV full time in the forest, off the grid to prove that anyone can do it.
