5 logistics centers in Castellón (Spain) are the result of years of close collaboration between the Porcelanosa Group and Mecalux. Venís, the last logistics facility to be completed is fitted out with the most recent technological developments present in each part of the circuit.

A silo of 7,000 square meters, 31 meters high and a capacity to store 65,000 pallets are figures that give an idea of the size of the project. 10 stacker cranes operate at a speed of up to 180 meters per minute and are able to perform as many as 237 combined cycles. Goods delivery and picking areas have required specific
solutions from Mecalux, installing pneumatic arms to allow operators to handle the load effortlessly and in ergonomic positions. The Mecalux Easy warehouse management software controls all processes carried out in the facility permitting a perfect traceability of goods and a full management.
